Wow, another busy few weeks for The Angel Bears Team, and lots of exciting things coming down the line.
Firstly we have been chosen by Tesco Tower Park in Poole (home to co founder Suzanne) as the charity recipient for their book shelf scheme. This is where you can pop in during your weekly shop and pick up a second hand book for the bargain price of just 50p, and all proceeds raised during this initiative go straight back to Angel Bears and will allow us to continue providing keepsake packs for early pregnancy units across the UK.
Nicki held the West Midlands support group this week and had a really strong turn out. The group painted memory stones, chatted about their experiences and welcomed a number of special guests from the local area including the Mayor and Miss Black Country!
We are launching two new support groups very soon - Nicole is joining the team and will be running a group in Preston, North West England, which will be held at BonBons Coffee Shop and I know she would love to see you there if you are in the area! We are also launching a virtual support group which you can log on to wherever you are in the world and chat to those who have experienced similar losses. Louise has also been working on a new group with a local social prescriber in Poole, UK. This group is aimed at those who are suffering infertility issues, undergoing IVF treatment or facing into a future without getting their rainbow baby. More details to follow when we have them.
We have also put on sale some new festival style wristbands, which can be purchased through our Facebook page along with our traditional wristband and a tote bag - all funds from these items are used to continue to grow the charity and support more families through baby loss. We are also working on some new products to be launched for Baby LOss Awareness month so watch this space!!
